    ASKING ALEXANDRIA veröffentlichen „Antisocialist“ als Unplugged-Version

    Asking Alexandria veröffentlichen eine Unplugged-Version zu ihrer Single „Antisocialist“, welche ursprünglich aus ihrem im Mai veröffentlichtem Album „Like a House on Fire“ stammt. Mit einem frischen Musikvideo gibt es gerade für Fans der Band eine unterhaltsame Akustikversion der Single. Gitarrist Ben Bruce kommentiert dazu folgendes:

    „Over the years we have been known to release many acoustic versions of our songs from a number of albums. Antisocialist has rapidly become our most successful active rock single of our entire career so we wanted to do something special. Instead of just another “acoustic version” of a song we decided to really strip this one back and try and recreate the song as an unplugged version that lives and breathes its own identity. An unplugged, vulnerable rendition of the song that hopefully allows people to feel like they are in the room with the band whilst we play it. To all of our fans, old and new, we truly hope you enjoy this unique version of Antisocialist as much as we do. We love you.“

    Im Mai 2020 veröffentlichten Asking Alexandria mit „Like A House On Fire“ ihr siebtes Studioalbum unter Sumerian Records. Seit 2008 ist die britische Band eine der einzigartigsten Vertreter des Metalcore Genres. Sie etablierten bereits drei Alben in den Top 10 der Billboard-Charts. Ein Mix aus rauen Scream-/ Growl-Elementen, harten Breakdowns, Clear-Vocals und Elektro-Passagen machen Asking Alexandria zu einer der exotischsten Bands des Metalcores. Live trat die Band mit Branchengrößen wie Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, Guns N‘ Roses oder Alice In Chains auf.
